The extension
Headerbench, the browser extension, collects nothing. Your profiles, headers, filters and
settings are stored in your browser with chrome.storage. If you turn on sync
(Pro), Chrome copies them between your own devices through your Google account’s Chrome
sync; Headerbench runs no server for this and cannot read them.
The extension sends no analytics or telemetry and loads no remote code. Its only network request goes to headerbench.com to renew a yearly Pro licence, and carries only the licence key.
The website
headerbench.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Our server logs request paths and status codes without IP addresses. Requests reach us through Cloudflare (CDN and DDoS protection) and our hosting proxy, which may process IP addresses and keep them in short-lived security logs.
The ModHeader converter on this site runs entirely in your browser. The file you choose is never uploaded.
Payments
Paddle.com processes payments as our reseller and merchant of record. When you buy Pro, Paddle collects your payment details, email and billing country under its own privacy policy. We receive the order details Paddle shares with sellers and use them only to issue and support your licence.
Licence keys
When you activate, recover or renew a licence, the server asks Paddle about that transaction or subscription, signs a key and sends it back. It does not store the key, the email you typed or the result. Request logs record the path and status, never the key or email.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data beyond what Paddle holds for your order, most requests are answered by Paddle. For anything else, including access or deletion requests, write to support@headerbench.com.
