Terms of use

Last updated 2026-10-12

These terms cover the Headerbench browser extension and the Headerbench Pro licence. The licensor is Hamza Ben Taieb, trading as Strait Systems (“we”). Pro is sold by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record, whose buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Using Headerbench

You may install and use the free features of Headerbench on any number of browsers, for personal or commercial work, at no cost and without time limits.

Headerbench changes HTTP requests on sites you choose. Use it on systems you own or are allowed to test. You are responsible for the rules you create and their effects, for example removing a site’s security headers.

Pro licence

  • A Pro licence is for one person, who may use it on all of their own browsers and devices. Don’t share or publish your key.
  • Yearly ($36/year) renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from the link in your Paddle receipt; Pro stays active until the end of the paid year.
  • Lifetime ($79 once) covers all Pro features, current and future, for this major version of Headerbench.
  • If Pro lapses, Pro rules pause; nothing is deleted. Free features keep working.
  • Refunds are covered by our refund policy. After a full refund or a chargeback, that purchase’s licence can no longer be activated, recovered or renewed, and a lifetime key stops turning on Pro from the next Headerbench update.

Changes and availability

We improve Headerbench over time and may change or remove features. We won’t take away a Pro feature you paid for during your paid period. Chrome and Edge decide what extensions can do; if a browser change limits a feature, we’ll tell you and adapt where we can.

Warranty and liability

Headerbench is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it is error-free, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Law

These terms are governed by French law, without removing the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in.
